My youngest daughter (17)is coming home from LA US today and my eldest daughter (19) is going to London for 5 months.
On this day I experienced what the future might be. My daughters are making my world a bit smaller. Being on a certain place anywhere/ everywhere in the world. Being abroad now and then coming home and leaving again.
A journey, a way of life, I made several times in my mind. Though my restless heart has found the place I would be; anywhere and everywhere I go, I carry my place within me.
So my daughter is going for 5 motnhs in London to experience what life might be and put this experience in her personal luggage.
The first experience to travel by train with a heavy suitcase resembling a 'trunk' to bring her belongings clothes and girly equipment to get a homy feeling during her 5 month's stay in London.
With no (or minimal) interference of her parents, she independently arranged the journey and the place she will stay during this adventure all by herself.
And this gives me a great feeling of confidence she managed on her own.
