Reminiscing: TIME and SPACE

How time flies or NOT. Athis moment it is only 3 weeks, that my daughter is in London. Because of the many exciting activities it seems to be a longer period. The first week as a tourist to get acquainted with her new environment. The second week she is introduced to her new colleagues and the third week she got more and more responsibility on her job. The fourth week she will come into balance. All new incentives will be processed: be valued and get their definite place in the spectrum of the good and bad sides of living in London. For now, i think it will end up at the very positive side of the spectrum. The aspect of working in London will come later, because she is still getting new incentives. These will be processed in about 3 months, I assume.

I have just reread her report of the 25th of August and I felt very proud of my BIG girl :-D 'figuratively' spoken. Eggs and greasy sausages won't have any influence on her physical condition. She will need all the energy to process this development.

In my personal process of detachment: pictures of the past went through my mind. I am holding a tiny creature in my hand, who is now walking through the streets of London developing her own life.

Seen from the perspective of a parent a gap has been created in the care of a child. The feeling of 'being needed' is growing, but at the same time the gap has been filled with a feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction. The results of nurturing and giving becomes visible in the blossoming of the person and at the end it will bear fruit. I had a feeling it is good and also a curiosity of what kind of fruit it will become. Perhaps a BIG BEN or MAC with a smiley :-D
